BH.com posted this deer on their facebook page yesterday. Does anyone have any factual, non-hearsay, information on this buck? Hunting preserve (high fence) operation? Fair Chase? Nuclear power plant property?

    Anything?

I find it hard to believe this thing given the amount of IL guys we got on the site and all is quiet...deer this big in the wild don't fall without word spreading....unless something is up typically.

Do you know where bh.com got the picture? Might be able to dig up the story if we knew the source it came from. I haven't heard our seen anything about it but that doesn't mean much.

It is on several blogs now.

He is wearing legal orange and the timing matches the gun season.

Other pictures are showing up too. I am now leaning towards it being the real deal.

I am hearing a gross of low 200's, which makes me think the picture is making a 200incher look like a 250incher.

I am just speculating and have no idea.

It is now on Boone & Crocket's Trophy Watch Page. They are good with these stories and will update it when they get the info. If you have not seen Trophy Watch it is always impressive.

That sounds a lot more credible...impressive if truly free range, and can't imagine drawing on that thing without crapping at the same time.

Even the watch page on B&C knows nothing on it....except possible location of Colorado with a (?) after it. Sorry but a buck of this magnitude doesn't just go silent after harvest...even if the best attempts are made to do so. Be interesting as it moves forward. Thanks for the page though, lots of cool deer on that even a great one from IN!

I honestly just don't think a 207" deer gets the attention that they used to.
