I hunt sitting on a bucket in some thicket bushes that border a small apple orchard. I've had the same 8 pointer come within 10 yards of me twice and 3 doe all within that distance as well!!! I was spraying doe in heat in a scrape. It was a pretty crazy experience. I think I might be too close but I feel I have to be, given I'm new archery and that's a solid yardage shot. Its hard to draw the bow back when you're that close too so I dunno.

This is my first year bow hunting and I'm just learning as I go and only have til friday morning to land this deer. I was out tonight and saw him from a distance twice, there's 5 new scrapes that I saw tonight too!!

I sprayed some doe in heat in the scrape that I have been targeting. Should I not spray when I get out there in the morning?? Try a different scrape? I dunno. Any advice would be great.

I was also thinking about trying to move to a spot where I keep seeing them run to after they've seen me...

    Welcome to the bowhunting world!

If these deer have seen you, I would definitely try a different location. From the sounds of it, you have several other scrapes that are getting hit. I would give them a shot!
