I tried some FOB's today. I was a little impressed but not blown away. Has anyone ever tried them? What did you think?

I know a few people who shoot them, I'd personally rather shoot vanes or feathers though. Although it's an easy fix they also have their flaws. Grouping arrows is a big issue with them I have noticed because if your groups are too tight you'll be breaking the things left and right. If you don't mind replacing them often then I say that they're pretty cool!

seriously, it is a circular attachment used instead of vanes and is supposed to improve accuracy and that. to me it looks nothing more than another gimmick.

I googled them, the funny thing is they do actually look like they may help 'control' better.

Sure... wait till next year they'll make new gimmicks so you can shoot around trees like the "Matrix" or "Wanted" lol.

I cant tell any difference in accuracy. I like them, I do not shoot them on my arrows. I play around with them. They pop off when hitting the deer. I had one pop off midflight, i prefer my vanes to be stuck well on my arrows. GIMMICK, YES! Fun YES, for hunting NO.
