Wouldn't you know it...opening day and I have a stupid funeral...umm...I mean wedding to go to. :bash:

The only good thing about that day is:
    1) I will be able to hunt the AM
    2) There will be alcohol at the reception  :deer:

Anyone else's hunt(s) ruined this season?

Nope, the only thing I attend during the season is the sunrise and sunset in the woods!

Rub it in why don't you. :smash: :deer:

I could have gotten away with NOT going but I'm sorta obligated since they came to our wedding. Next year, I have to be IN a wedding but thankfully its in the spring. But still...since I'm going to be a part of it...I have to make sure I'm off for the bachelor party, the rehearsal, and then the wedding. Sure hope my schedule falls right on those days. I guess I'll just turn in my OT hours for comp time to make up for it. :d

Yep my hunting buddies kid is getting married the first weekend of Oct. it was Oct 27 and I told him to have a nice trip home because I wouldn't be leaving ILL. for that but then they changed it to the first weekend of Oct. Better but not by much..This will be the first one I have ever gone to in Oct. before and only because we are so close hunting and filming and all.. Walt

    Yeah...well...they're Megan's friends. :d

Dave...I don't think that'll fly. Being hot-headed when I heard the news...I said, "Well, I'll just be sick that day." Doh! :smash: :busted:

Mobow...Good one buddy. Must be love.

I just gotta get it done that morning...piece of cake. :deer:

same here, my anniversary is November 11, I wasn't such a fanatic when I got married. This year i will be on the road to Illinois for a week long bowhunt from nov 12 to 18..My wife seems pretty cool about it though.
