Wouldn't you know it...opening day and I have a stupid funeral...umm...I mean wedding to go to. The only good thing about that day is: 1) I will be able to hunt the AM 2) There will be alcohol at the reception Anyone else's hunt(s) ruined this season?
Rub it in why don't you. :smash: I could have gotten away with NOT going but I'm sorta obligated since they came to our wedding. Next year, I have to be IN a wedding but thankfully its in the spring. But still...since I'm going to be a part of it...I have to make sure I'm off for the bachelor party, the rehearsal, and then the wedding. Sure hope my schedule falls right on those days. I guess I'll just turn in my OT hours for comp time to make up for it. :d
Yep my hunting buddies kid is getting married the first weekend of Oct. it was Oct 27 and I told him to have a nice trip home because I wouldn't be leaving ILL. for that but then they changed it to the first weekend of Oct. Better but not by much..This will be the first one I have ever gone to in Oct. before and only because we are so close hunting and filming and all.. Walt
No, 99% of my friends hunt..........so Sept 1st through Jan 31st no one makes plans. We're smarter than that:d
Nope...close...September 12th I found out I have one to go to. Unless they're immediate family or good friends, I'll stay in my tree:D
Im going to one the week before deer season starts here in Ohio, in Michigan. If im still with my girl thats is :d
No weddings, but my daughter and my niece both have a bday on Nov 20, opening day of shotgun season. Gotta feeling thats going to cut into my hunting that day lol.
I don't have any weddings to attend but I do have my own anniversary........I was married on opening day of MO's firearm season....Yeah, frickin brilliant, huh?
Glad to hear I won't be the only one missing out on a hunt or two. Yeah...well...they're Megan's friends. :d Dave...I don't think that'll fly. Being hot-headed when I heard the news...I said, "Well, I'll just be sick that day." Doh! :smash: Mobow...Good one buddy. Must be love. I just gotta get it done that morning...piece of cake.
Yep, one of my best friends daughter is getting married Sept. 19, the first Saturday of MO's bowseason. I guess I'll be there.
my bro's getting married near the end of Oct. I told them one week later and I wouldn't be able to make it.
" I don't have any weddings to attend but I do have my own anniversary........" same here, my anniversary is November 11, I wasn't such a fanatic when I got married. This year i will be on the road to Illinois for a week long bowhunt from nov 12 to 18..My wife seems pretty cool about it though.
I only hang out with already married people, scary people/undesirables or players who don't marry. :d
