As I near the beginning of Missouri's archery season, my confidence is just soaring as far as my shooting is concerned. I've got my bow completely set up for hunting right now, and it's absolutely silent. My arrows are flying like lasers, and even better I'm shooting accurately with it. Without getting into much detail here, let's just say I've got a "portable, hydraulic treestand" with a bag target set out. I move the "treestand" and hit the bag w/ my laser, adjust my pin, and shoot. I'm getting this done quickly and accurately. I know it's not a big buck, and my emotions aren't all jacked up but man.....It sure feels good to be shooting well. How bout ya'll? Are ya feeling confident headed into the season? What are you doing to prepare?
I am heading into the season feeling better about my shooting and shooting equiptment than I ever have. I am heading out tohang a set today after work.
yeah I right there with ya mobow. I am ready, shooting great and confident, been seeing some really nice deer. A few more weeks, Sept 13th can't come quick enough! Looking forward to chasing some fall Turkeys as well!

yup, feeling really good about my shooting, shot a lot this summer and my new arrow set up and acurracy out of the old Liberty has been great. I feel as good as i have ever shot.

Don I'm feeling GREAT about this year. I have 2 new tracts to hunt and I'm shooting really well with the Marquis. Once I have one on the ground with that its trad time. I'm shooting the new bow with amazing confidence and I'm practicing with all my equipment at varied yardages and elevations. All practice now is with BHs. I'll start wearing gloves and mask soon. Its still too hot now, 100 degrees outside!
I feel sorry for the first deer to walks by at 8 yards. Since I've really only been shooting in my garage at about 8 yards. But I s-m-o-k-e at 8 yards like no ones business!
I switched over to my hunting arrows after the 3d shoot this weekend. I got my sight readjusted and I am ready to make something bleed for real. Tired of shooting foam. Oh yeah got all of my food plots planted too.
