They have no one to blame but themselves paying those outrageous markups. I can see paying a little extra, but those guys are insane. In two to three months they Will be back down to regular price.

Saw 1000 rds of wolf ammo at $570 with 13 hours left in the auction, like they say there's a sucker born every minute. I wouldn't run that Russian trash through my gun unless it was all out war and I ran out of rocks to throw.

I can't believe how fast things have escalated in just the last 2 days... Even Monday wasn't horrible - saw a bunch of DPMS complete lowers for just under $350. Either yesterday or Tuesday I actually bought a stripped Spikes Spider lower on GB for $191 shipped and I snarled when I had to pay that.... Sure glad I picked it up - just in case pricing and availability don't come back to earth... I've got my RRA and Spikes lower - now I'm happy/satisfied - least for now :-)

I've got an order in with Brownells... They are on backorder but they still let me place the order... Figure may as well get my name on the list - eventually some should come in....

Where did you get a lower for that price at? Was it completely stripped I assume?

I have a stripped palmetto state armory lower here that I paid a total of 87.00 for. A bunch of p-mags that we paid $9 each for..... Pretty tempted to put them on gunbroker right now. Heh heh heh.

Some things are going high, but the all of the holy **** prices are asking prices... People aren't paying those outrageous prices (yet?). I am sure you would turn a decent profit though.

    $50 for a p-mag! $300 for a stripped lower.

    Those are the winning bids.

    Crazy!

I have only been checking the prices on the lowers. I have noticed people pay double to triple markup on lowers. Some people have stripped lowers listed for like $1600. Not sure what their thought process is when there are a lot of other lowers for a small fraction of that. You can get off brand lowers for $150-200.

I just checked the manhattan Craigslist, and there is a completely stripped lower for $1000. It just says "stripped lower, email me".

Here is a good one from Armslist...

"I have a AR complete lower! I bought the lower for 100 bucks, bought a lower parts kit, and hammered the thing together in my garage! I'm a total pro gun smith ;)

You can buy it for $1000 or I am open to trades for Bentleys, kidneys, or your first born. I'll take an arm and a leg, but you'll have to add cash.

NO LOWBALLERS!!!!!!! I NO WUT I GOT"
