Just wanted to know what the best bow for your money is for a youngster my 11 year old son seems to show interest in bow hunting so what have y'all used or recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree with the diamond infinite edge. Its truly not just a youth bow. With ability of 305 fps at 30in draw and 70lbs its an adult bow. Diamond is made by Bowtech and we all know Bowtech makes a good bow
I'll second the Diamond for the longevity, the Vortex Hunter is more for a cheap substitute until you decide to put money into a nicer bow.
I've heard great things about the Mission lineup. Personally I had a Razor Edge which is the model before the Infinite came out and it is a very underrated bow in my opinion
I bought the Diamond Razor Edge as an intro into bow hunting and I'm retiring her out this year. It's been a great bow IMO and the price was right when I bought it in 2010. I just purchased a Carbon Rose through my bow shop today but the Diamond is not going to bed so quickly. I'm having it set up for my non-hunting husband so he can target practice with me.
Speaks for itself. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?t=57936 Diamond infinite edge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another vote for the Diamond. Purchased several of the Razor Edge and couldn't be happier. Sent from my BNTV600 using Tapatalk
My 9 yr old shoots a Diamond infinite edge and my 8 yr old has a Beat apprentice 2. Both are great bows and will last a good long time. The diamond was $349 and the Bear was $299.
What has been the recovery rate with a youth bow with having such a low draw weight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MD has a 30 pound minimum, and my boys are both pulling just over that. No way in hell I'm letting them shoot a deer until they can pull at least 45. Just because they can doesn't mean they should.
K that sounds more like it So do y'all hang double lock on stands or ladder stands Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
