G'day guys! It's looking like I will be heading to WA next year or year after for a LONG overdue international hunting trip.. I'm trying to avoid a guided hunt but understand it may be necessary to ensure the best chance of success as I can't scout areas from Australia... I may have one possible contact in WA as he is a friend of the people I will be staying with in Spokane. I am hoping to spend three or so weeks in the U.S. and hope to at least attempt to hunt deer (preferably whitetail), elk, bear, wolf and possibly fall turkey across both WA and Idaho.. A big ask I know!! I appealing to anyone in the know who has great success on either private or public land to see if they would be willing to help me out.. I'm looking for bow and/or rifle hunts and don't mind roughing it and hiking till my feet bleed.. Always gotta see over that next ridge.. I understand I'm asking a lot so I better offer something in return.. Here in Aus I have access to Fallow, Red, Rusa, and even the Mighty Sambar deer on both private and public land across two states.. and here unlike America we can hunt the buggers 365 days a year. I also have countless feral goats, rabbits, foxes and pest birds too! Even if you can't help me out I'm always chasing info on the dos and donts as well as equipment must haves for hunting over there as I AM hunting over there no matter what!! Thanks for reading
Anyone? Even some advice on how best to hunt over there.. Not like I can pinch anyone's spot from over here haha
