I figured I'd give you guys a thread to use the icon for me as much as you like. It's OK though, I'm comfortable with my manhood. I don't drink coffee. Never have and never will. But, I do like a good tea. For years I drank quite a bit of Yerba Mate as well as a fair amount of Gotu Kola. Lately I've been drinking a lot of Lemon Verbena and just got some Bold Leaf Lapacho. I've only had a couple cups of the Lapacho so far and its OK. A little bit of a woody taste to it. Anyone else have any recommendations for good teas. By good, I don't mean some Lipton tea bag crap. Here's a couple more preemptive for you guys.
I do drink coffee but I also drink tea. Usually have 2-3 cups of tea each weekday. Bigelow makes good tea. I like, in no order of preference: raspberry lemon lift green tea green tea w/lemon earl grey mint medley constant comment some others but not as often Sometimes I will mix the tea, say, lemon lift and earl grey, something like that. I generally mix the herbal teas with a caffeinated one. http://www.bigelowtea.com/
About the only time I drink peppermint tea is when I have a cold. I make it strong and it helps clear the sinuses. I also rarely drink any teas from a bag. I mostly steep bulk teas.
Dang, I thought you were a blue collar tea drinker. I wouldn't have answered if I had known you were a tea snob . I'll slowly back out and let Hooker help you out.
Steeping? We don't need no stinking steeping. Blue collar works smarter, not harder . I'm going to go make some coffee now.
Ricky Bobby you stole my line :p Im the opposite Dan, I drink Coffee but stay away from Tea! To much sugar! For the most I try and stay away from that these days!
By the way I think that explains the stach in the pic now. lmao By the way I love hot tea and Iced tea But I not flavored just sweet opps here I am
Maybe you need to clarify do you drink your tea hot or ice tea and there is the whole southern sweat tea thing.
Just so you gents know, my Doc explained to me that tea is the leading cause of kidney stones... 2 weeks ago, as I lay in the ER.... in complete and total agony. My suggestion:
I drink green tea nearly every morning at my desk. But, I am far from a tea snob. Any old green tea seems to work for me. I also enjoy an English Breakfast tea on occasion.
