Just wondering what you guys would do with stands and such. Wind from the south. Just planted plot. Corn isn't in best of shape due to deer and just no rain. Not the biggest picture but I can't seem to get it to change.

I'd suggest not putting a feeder out, as baiting is illegal in PA. Have you scouted much? What are they eating on? Where are they bedding? I'd suggest doing a bit of investigative work before the season opens. Won't take much. Just look around the edges of the corn/plot and see which they're hitting the hardest. If they're hitting both, locate what seems to be the heavier trails and put a stand inside the woods 50 yards for an evening hunt. For morning hunts, you're best to try to find (or think about) where they're bedding, and set up between that bedding area and the food for the morning hunts.

Catch them going to the food in the evening (sit on the food source), catch them going to bed in the morning (sit on the bedding area). Best of luck to you!

Go to it on google maps and switch it to topo map. Always the very first step for me in determining stand locations.

Try looking around where that creek splits. That is a natural bottleneck that will force deer into that spot. Also look for peninsulas of forest that jut into the fields like the one just south of the plot and just west of the corn.
