Looking for pac boots or extremem cold weather boots. Now for those of you down south, extreme weather here is zero or below, not 40 degrees!:d
any particular brands, experiences would be appreciated.

I use a Lacrosse ice king pac boot. Huge but comfy and my feet have yet to get cold with 1 pair of socks. I have sit well below zero in a stand and on ice ice fishing. Triple insulated from the bottom where your feet get cold from. If you are not walking miles they will definetly keep your feet warm.

you can find them cheaper too. They feel like a slipper the liner is so soft and cushy. Really I love these boots. A tad heavy but we want warm right?

I bought a pair of Cabelas Saskatchewan Pac Boot. Great boot for extreme weather. I wore them all late season last year when the temps were well below zero, like 10 below zero. The boots are pretty light weight and the inserts come out for easy drying if your feet get wet. They take a bit to get used to because of the think sole, which is what you want, after a few days I didn't even notice. A bit pricey but to me well worth it. This boot will last me a VERY long time as long as I take care of them!

I have a pair of Micky Mouse boots (Military Issue) and they are very warm but they are also very heavy. For stand use they work great but you dont want to walk a mile with them on!!!

I agree! I've had the Iceman's that Lacrosse makes for about 10 years now. Excellent boot company. Many times they've been In -30 below temps with no issues.

For the last two years in Saskatchewan I have worn a pair of Cabela's Predator Extreme Boot. Last November it was -30 in the mornings and higs of -10 to -15 every day. Never once did my feet get cold. If I was looking to get another pair of boots for extreme cold weather, it would be those.

Troy's suggestion on the Cabela's Infernos and the other's on the Saskatchewan boot would also be on the top of my list.

I agree with this guy. I have a pair of Ice Kings that I used to hunt in quite a bit during the late season, including sub-zero temps. Even with a single pair of white cotton socks my feet never got cold once. Love those boots. :tu:

After much looking around last year, I went with a pair of Cabela's Infernos... 2,000 grams of Thinsulate, and not bulky like a traditional pac boot. I was very pleased at how they performed when the temps were in the single digits sitting on stand for a few hours.

I use a pair of Guide Gear Sentinels (sp?) from the Sportsman's Guide. They have Guide Dry like goretex, and are 2000 gram thinsulate. I love them for late season hunting, and the price wasn't bad either at under $100. They have held up to some beatings and are quite comfortable.

Same as Tribal, Shultzy, and Justin. I have both the Icemans and Icekings. I have had the Icemans since 87 and replaced the liners with the same as the Icekings a few years ago. Great boots for cold weather stand hunting.

For those of you concerned about your feet sweating, spray them down with scent free antiperspirant. Sure makes one with no fragrance in it. Your feet will stay dry. Read the package carefully I've seen "unscented" on the front but when reading the ingredients on some brands "fragrance" was listed in the ingredients. I guess there's a difference!
