Hello im a pretty good shot just my technique needs some fine tuning. How do you guys know exactly when to release? for example do you try holding your pin steady where you want to hit? ive tried and ive found it near impossible. i mean target shooting maybe you can but hunting you cannot youd be shaking to much. so how do you go thru your release? do you do a pattern like in a video game when your aiming down a sniper site do you mimic them like the little circular motion and when your hovering over the spot hold your breath to somewhat steady then release? or do you go from the top down to the spot then release when your about to be where u want to hit? also does your bow have a valley that you kind of relax in or do you pull against the back wall and hold it against the back wall and shoot that way? i have a hard time when i get on the spot i want i ease my finger over the trigger and i feel the metal but i kind of pull it hard because i know im on the target, im trying to find an easier way of gettting right on the spot n pointers are always nice. thanks just give me some tips if you woulldnt mind.

You can let that pin float BoneCollector. If you look at your pin it will always float. As the pin floats yet it tightens down to a point where it is floating tightly in the area in which you want to release...then just release. I always feel a little better if I bring my pin up slightly from the bottom of the target for some reason, others might do it from a different angle.

If you haven't been shooting long then looking at the level can be semi-difficult. Once you get a lot of shots in you will find it very necessary to look at the level. Especially if you find that your right to left is off - that level can really benefit you.

When your bow shooting you focus on your target where you want to hit and then black out that area with you pin, never focus on ur pin. Unlike shooting a rifle, you focus the cross hairs on the target. Like virginia shadow said how he comes up from the bottom, i start above the target and slowly drop until i hit the spot.
