80 yd shots with a Rage is like 20yds with any traditional fixed blade. It's like throwing an axe through an animal. Am I right?

Yes I do. The primary reason for the malfunctioning heads is basically due to the fact that they are junk. Other than that, they are definitely the best head on the market. Just ask anyone that gets paid to endorse their product.

I shot my buck with a Rage broadhead this year. I shot low, severing the buck's testicles, but then the broadhead did something amazing. It got mad at itself and Raged, thereby boomeranging itself and returned to strike the buck in it's neck, thereby severing it's head.

I have a friend with low self esteem, he's tried a lot of things over the years, but nothing helped, then he got a package of rage's, one look at the size of those things and he's like a new man, who says size doesn't matter?

John, that's not uncommon. They are prescribed often for target panic as well. They are so big and deadly that your not worried about missing the vitals, if hit em at all Rage kills em.
I started shooting at a deer ears with my rage so I wouldn't ruin any meat.

This happens a lot when they prematurely ejectulate the blades. Thank goodness that your Rage had the decency to at least redeem itself by giving it another poke.

I'm new here... but I take it a majority of you don't like Rage haha. I have used them for 4 years now. And I love them. In reality, good shot placement makes broadhead types pretty irrelevant, but I have shot 2 deer that I immediately thought I'd be lucky to find... and both were within 80 yards. I have heard a lot of people knocking on them, but until I experience any of these issues, I have no reason to switch. They have absolutely destroyed the deer that I have shot!!

Psh these rage heads are pure gold! Last year i had a buck run over a hill towards a buddy of mine rifle hunting. I took a shot and the rage went through the hill and still killed the buck! granted for some reason it only made a bullet sized hole and my buddy claimed that he shot it too but i knew my rage had done its job!

I just take my sights off when I am shooting my rages, that way it doesn't get in the way incase the blades deploy premature. Besides you don't even need to aim when shooting rages, as long as your close they will kill any thing.

Rage is the best broadhead in the business They fly just like field points and DON'T open in flight I had a buddy shoot a buck at 7 yards with one and the exit hole was about the size of my fist

^^ that's what i am talking about. Boots on the ground killing testimonials prove Rages superiority. I can't wait till they put out a line of Rage apparel in camo so the deer will fear me. ..after they are dead of course
