I have a great opportunity for getting a turkey (about 12 roam through my neighbors field almost every Thursday morning) and i was wondering if it is possible to bag one of these prehistoric looking beasts with a bow. If so what is the suggested equipment to use?

very doable with a blind and a sharp broad head! slice it up real thin, Marrinade, and grill! Mmm, mmm, Good! Make sure you are in a legal season though, i killed a nice tom this spring (shotgun) completely legal and the game warden was at my house 45 min after i killed, and kill was a half hour away from my house. Guess my grand parent's neighbor wasn't happy that called this big guy off their land :)

I shot 2 with my bow last season. I used dull Slick Trick broadheads so I didn't get a passthrough

Almost every Thursday? What are they doing every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? Have you seen where they come in and go out? A ground blind would be the best to hunt from. I would also employ one or two confidence decoys (hens). Time will tell....good luck!

No idea where they are the rest of the week but when i am back in the woods deer hunting i hear them all around. I do know where they go back into the woods never seen them actually come out. they usually hang around a big downed tree that i am thinking i could turn into a natural blind really easy...

They have broadheads specifically for turkeys but regular ones will do the trick, and I always see more turkeys in deer season than in the spring too
