I was looking at ordering a axion GLZ gridlock stabilizer. I came across this trophy ridge static and was wondering if any one has one and what they thing about it. For the price difference i would rather go with the trophy ridge but i want to know what people think about it first.
Just bought the 9" Black and Pink one for my girlfriends matthews passion. She has not shot other stabilizers to know the difference between them but it has improved her shooting greatly. I need to put it on my bow to compare mine to hers. I have a 8" Carbon Express Ultra Shock it seems to work great but I have not compared it to anything new. I am planning on getting a new Doinker Stabilizer.
I ended up picking up a 6inch one yesterday, went home and shot with it was impressed. One thing I noticed with my bow when I was picking it out is that it had a little hand shock, so I put on a axion and it got rid of it. So when I got home threw the static on my bow and went and shot some rounds. It eliminated the hand shock just like the axion. Another thing that I really liked about it was how you can take some weight off if you wanted to. I tried it all the different ways but in the end I ended up keeping on the weight on it
I have it and my wife has it. Like nsimmions said my wife dose not know the difference but she is alot more stable. Her bow is already pretty quite so i couldn't really tell any noise difference. But with my bow I love it we both have the 6" and it helped w/ hand shock and some noise as well. Your going to love it.
I made a review of it if you're interested. Couldn't find any review online, so decided to make my own :-) Find it here: Trophy Ridge 9” Static Stabilizer Hope it's helpful to others.
