There is no punishment or torture severe enough for those who drive slow in the left lane. Or for those that drive 10 mph under the limit on double line roads where you can't pass.
Yep,points here against your lic goes straight into insurance premiums. 2 tickets and both moving violations you bet i paid a lawyer ended up with a parking ticket.
I commute 50 miles each way to and from work every day. You have no idea how many times in a trip I say exactly this...it drives me crazy when people drive in the fast lane...going slower than the rest of traffic. People should not be passing you on the right...that is not the way it works. If I want to go faster than the speed limit, you are not the one to decide that in the fast lane. Get your a$$ over and if I get a ticket, then that is my own fault and that is the chance that I am going to take. Thanks
I never said I tailgated, flashed my lights. I said it pisses me off. All they get from me is a little stare down as I drive past them. I'm not really a speeder, maybe 3 or 4 miles over the limit. Not enough for an officer to even take a second look. I live in a rural area and commute to work, I get stuck behind farm equipment and grandma and grandpa out for a Sunday drive all the time, that doesn't irritate me as much as the jerk in the left lane going at or less than the speed limit.
part of driving is dealing with all types of things, other drivers to fast or to slow, animals, road debris, weather, etc. etc. I think Tom was just venting. However there are certain roadways that the left lane is for passing only and if someone in the state of illinois is driving in the left passing lane under the speed limit they can be ticketed. It does not mean it is a speeding lane and that is something each driver has to deal with on their own. I am guilty of staying in the left lane a majority of the time and doing the speed limit and when someone comes up on my truck faster I get out of the way let them go if they get a ticket its on them. We have no Idea why they are speeding and its not our job to get them to slow down, I dont remember who told tomto get a driver to take him around but who ever did start buying product from him and then maybe he can afford one lmao
One issue most overlook is emergency vehicles need the left lane. Doesn't take much to clog the roadways when your creating traffic jams in the left lane. When on the highway, get over in the right lane when you clear the vehicles. Not hard and is much safer for all on the road. Even faster moving traffic needs to get over when they have made the pass. no I got 2 moving violation tickets knocked down to a parking ticket by using a lawyer,The place i got the ticket is a speed trap area.
Drives me insane especially when they look at u in the rear view and shake their head like your doing something wrong!!!
I had a guy give me the finger after he was being a jerk by riding my bumper so close that I couldn't see his headlights, then he would pass me after I had a chance to move over, get in front of me and slow down. I was going 80 in a 70 zone, so not slow at all. After about the 3rd time when he got on my bumper I locked my breaks and saw him swerve off the road. Served him right. Had a guy take a parking spot from me, when I got out and politely asked him for the spot I was waiting for 5 minutes for he blew me off. So I flattened all his tires with a flat head. Some people think that nothing will happen to them so they can be as disrespectful as they want cause they will get away with it. I try to not let that happen.
these situations right here are becoming the norm imho....I think no matter how fast you go there are just some idiots out there hell bent on riding your butt and thinking they are in control....it amazes me why people wonder why there are so many road rage cases on a daily basis !!!!!!

Reading this thread has jinxed me. Last night on my way home I got stuck behind three different Einstein's. Drive or get off the road.
That is why they created those cool looking bumper guards for my SUV. If they won't get out of my way, I'll get them out of my way. Muuahahahahaha!!!!!!!

It's call courtesy on the road, try it... :D I rather like these people on the road, because generally AFTER I pass them, I get right in front of them with my big stinky Diesel, and give them a cloud of BLACK SMOKE to motivate them to GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY next time... I also use this technique for those that follow too closely. I think that irrittes me more, when you're passing, and you can't push the cars in front of you out of the way, and some JACKHOLE gets so close that you can barely see him, if at all, out of your mirrors. Washing the windshield, and diesel smoke are amost guaranteed for jackholes who pull that crap with me. Once it's a place for me to get over an allow them to pass,then they can be on their way, prior to they should keep at least a vehicle's length between themself and I, preferrably 2.
