Went out to the state land spot I hunt and ended up finding about 5 other stands in the same sq mile. Figure if I could find out who is hunting them before season starts we could work together and away from each other.
Milford where? What state? What game lands? I'm also about 101% positive that not everyone who hunts is on this site so it would be irrelevant to assume working together is a possibility.
Well if you haven't heard of Milford then you probably aren't from the area! And if they are on here then it was a success, and if not then who cares. Irrelevant was a poor choice of words since the internet and especially forums are a great way to reach out to people you don't know. Quit being a Ninja
So you think there's only 1 place in the world, or even United States, with the name Milford? And, you expect all 5 owners of those stands to be people who are also members of this site? Have fun finding the needles in the haystack. Milford, Connecticut city Milford, Delaware city Milford, Illinois village Milford, Kosciusko County, Indiana town Milford, Iowa city Milford, Kansas city Milford, Kentucky village Milford, Maine town Milford, Massachusetts town Milford, Michigan village Milford, Missouri village Milford, Nebraska city Milford, New Hampshire town Milford, New Jersey borough Milford, New York village Milford, Ohio city Milford, Pennsylvania borough Milford, Texas town Milford, Utah
Cause a lot of those are midwest states! OK, Just for SPEAR Milford, Michigan, United States (N 42.59126 W83.60046) Proud Lake State Land
How where we suppost to know what Milford your talking about unless you give us a state lol im fro NJ and we have one here lol
Well I am from Central IL and there is a town called Milford about 45 minutes from Champaign. I assume if this is the same Milfold you are talking about maybe hunting Middle Fork State park. I have hunted there in the past and if you want to find a good spot you need to get a map and go deep. All of the easy spots will be taken and it has been my experience that the deeper you go into any state park the better it gets anyway.
The reason I asked was because we have a Milford here in Ohio too that is less than 10 minutes from me and a friend at work mentioned there was state game land there. No need to be rude, looks like others had no idea where you were talking about either.
"I'm also about 101% positive that not everyone who hunts is on this site so it would be irrelevant to assume working together is a possibility." Because this comment really helped. I gave the information out after the fact but, half of everyone on here reads the last 3 posts and goes from there. So ONCE AGAIN is There anyone from MICHIGAN who is Hunting around MILFORD more or less PROUD LAKE area?
I didn't know about it either. It's a very small area but it does exist: Della Gates & Edward Charles Bott Wildlife Area I'm not sure ranting on like this will make anyone want to respond and work with you. Just my 2 cents.
A couple things he posted in the midwest forums. So NJ and anyone not in the midwest that cuts you out. For the rest of you look at his location...Murder Mitten (for those on tapatalk you can look at profile). I only know of one state that is called a mitten.... No WI is not a mitten. I've heard people try calling it that. I don't hunt over there though sorry.
Well I am from Michigan and had to decipher from the "Murder Mitten" that quite possibly you were talking about the Milford that I know in Michigan. Sorry you got offended when others had no idea what state you were talking about but this isn't Michigan Sportsman either. Being a national bowhunting forum you had to know that it was going to cause some confusion. Anyways, I don't hunt that area either but maybe you'd have better luck tracking them down on Michigan Sportsman instead??
