I want to feel the freezer with as much wild game as possible. Kill a turkey, buck, black bear and bull elk.
My 2015 goals would be better stand placement, including better cover and more setups to reduce pressure. My other goal is to put in 2 small kill plots and one larger plot for winter feeding.
You mean just run the meat along the freezer on the outside? Kill a 150+ in Kansas Learn the 200 acres of new land I just got permission to hunt Go to Atlas's and kill a few of those 130+ bucks his family won't shoot and fill my doe tags ta boot :D
I want to go on my first hunt and actually kill something. I have never been hunting before and I am self teaching myself. I want to eat some deer meat!
Get my first kill with traditional gear whether it a turkey, deer, or even a squirrel. Also just got permission to a new block of woods that doesnt look to promising but the land owner says there are big ones there and only gets gun hunted the whole year, so I would like to just have a good encounter on the new property.
My new goal is to practice shooting more to do a little bit more scouting instead of going to my favorite spots all the time.
My goals for 2015 are to try to learn something every time I go out, increase my time in the woods and to kill my first buck with a bow
Public land Pope & Young caliber buck in WI, 150 or better in Illinois but I'm not eating another Illinois tag so that last weekend before shotgun season my standards are dropping to stupid levels.
One word: Repeat :D But really just keep doing what I do each year and add to it as time allows...tag(buck) soup years won't happen often if I do that.
To do a ton of habitat improvement at my two main hunting properties. And to kill a good buck in Illinois.
Goals: -Get my second oldest his first deer (my oldest got his first last season) -Take a DIY-OTC elk in CO with bow for 3rd year in a row
Kill a 3.5 or older buck. I have always held my standards at 2.5 or older but this year I am stepping that up and sticking to it. Would love to kill my first pope and young, and will have a great chance in MO Nov 9-13 this year.
I have a few goals ! First bowkilled turkey First Bowkilled buck Permission to hunt on some good land! And buy a few more hangon stands ! Oh and overall I want to rememeber to always have fun and never take a day for granted!
