Any NC Hunters here?

Checking to see if there are any North Carolina Hunters in da HOUSE!?

 

I live in wilson where in north carolina are you?

 

I live in Jacksonville.

 

Hunt in an around Ahoskie.

 

Other side...WNC.

 

In the middle in Garner

 

Glad to see a bunch of NC hunters here. Question for ya'll? Are the bucks out here really that small? I've seen some last season, and man they're small here especially out here in the East.

 

I was only able to make it out a couple times because I am stationed in Charleston. This past year I had no luck at all!

 

I hunt Central. Yes the deer near the coast tend to seem small, especially if you're from up north...having said that there are some nice ones out there, they're just hiding...

 

I've always heard the big NC deer are out East... maybe you're a little too far east.

 

Most of the locals here say, that out west are bigger Deer, here in the east are pretty small "swamp deer" that are used to people... I am really close to the beach, I'm like 15min away...

 

I hunt and live in Thomasville just south of Greensboro/high point

 

I'm live and hunt in Rowan county. The deer out this way are bigger than out east. I'm at North Myrtle this week though. I did see a good sized dead doe on 52 on my way here. Also saw a yote trotting across a field and a field full of turkey I Stanley county.

 

I guess I'm getting a Statewide license then. Sweet! September 8 -28!? Ya'll ready!???!!????

 

i was driving on 95 to south carolina the other night and counted 19 doe

Hey CombatHm, I saw you are in Jacksonville. Didn't know if you knew or would be interested but there is a 3D shoot on Lejeune this Sat. just thought I would pass it along, and maybe i will see you there.

 

I am participating and going to help set up that morning. See you there hopefully.

 

Are you a member of the archery club, also what time is set up, I'd be glad to come lend a hand?
