Any morel hunters here?

    Just wondering. I saw a report that they are just starting in southern Iowa. About 2 weeks early this year.

    We found a couple dozen small greys last Saturday. All in one spot and couldn't find a one any place else.

    70* today should have em popping up everywhere tho.

    Yep count me in,,, I found 36 greys a couple days ago and one yellow in my yard. Like John, they were in one spot, still should be more good hunting yet to come!!

    I need to get Into this, mushrooms are delicious when cooked right. My dad Is really Into this, he usually picks well over a 1,000 a year.

    WOWZA Steve, thats some serious shroomin! Does he dry them out or eat them right away? That would be awesome to have a honey hole for Morels!
