Notre Dame walks into Oklahoma and dismantles them 30-13! Been biting my tongue this year until a win like this. But dare I say....... ND is.... relevant in the national picture. Love em or hate em you have to say they look good (especially the defense). What do you think with your unbiased opinion?

They came into Norman an beat the crap out of my beloved Sooners:( I don't know if ND is that good. I'm just thinking OU is that bad.

Its a good win. ND just doesn't pass the eye test, but they are undefeated. You can't hate on that.

Speaking of hate, what happen to all the people calling for Kelly's head?

ND Bama would be the most storied National Championship game in a LOOOOONG time.

That said, Bama Oregon would be the most entertaining.

I hope K State, Oregon, ND, and Bama all 4 go undefeated and the nation riots from not having enacted the 4 team playoff sooner.

That said, ND is at least interesting to watch, they make every game close for the most part... Oregon and Bama have been obliterating teams so bad that it isn't even remotely fun to watch anymore.

I am a huge ND fan and this season has been so SO fun. Brian Kelly is the best coach we have had since Lou and I am fine with Kelly staying at ND as long as he wants... will they be in the national championship this year? Hard to say... Being a ND fan I know not to count my chickens too soon. But I do know that if they go undefeated they should be in the National Championship game... My reasoning... If they win out they will have beaten 5 ranked teams through the season... Alabama is at #1 and If they win out... I could be wrong... they will have only beaten 2 or three ranked opponents.

I will just keep my fingers crossed I guess... GO IRISH!!!!

You would be wrong. They would beat 5 ranked opponents as well.

If Alabama, Oregon, ND, and KSU all win out, I don't think ND is a shoe in for the mythical NC game.

Correct. Alabama would be the only lock out of the group. Oregon would have been but all of their big opponents coming up keep dropping to other teams.

ND certainly has the defense to hang with anyone as they have proven, but I'll reserve my final judgment on them until I see their offense score on a team with an equally menacing defense.

I want to see Oregon make the championship game.

Most definitely. Their offense is getting better every week. By the end of the season, they could very well be one of the top teams in the country.

I think they do have an advantage being an independent, and I think that should factor into the equation.

Oregon is flat out crushing people.

Any team that can got to Norman and beat OU, is an outstanding team. They just don't lose in Norman. Maybe they are not quite at the level they once were, but they are still a very good football team. Both ND and KState handled OU at their house. That's a big accomplishment.

Bill Snider is the best coach in the country. He gets more out of the talent that he can recruit than any other coach in the country. Simply Amazing, and I hope they win out an play for a national championship because he deserves one.

Disclaimer, this is hard for me to say being a life long Missouri Tigers fan, but the truth is the truth, and at least KU still sucks the big one

I wouldn't overlook K-State's chances. ND and Oregon both have some tests left. Bama not so much except LSU and I am actually giving them a chance to pull an upset. Then the SEC Championship game. It's all still up for grabs... KSU looks pretty tough... 3 or 4, 50 plus games against good teams and the most points they've allowed is 21. They could be holding the glass slipper when the clock strikes 12.

If KSU could get rolling in the first half, thy would be destroying. Last game, the first half looked terrible. After Snyder ripped a$$ at half time (in his own way) they came out and actually played good. I'm not a sports fan, but that's my take on them

No matter how this game ends.... ND doesn't have it. At least they haven't shown it all game against a team that is 4 and 4 and 1-3 in their conference. Terrible play calling in the red zone. If they win... it was a gift from the Devine authority. LOL I wanted the to come out and romp. All they're doing is studder stepping. That QB can't hit the broad side of a barn.
