It's either a dog or a kangaroo. I'm not sure which

    Big kitty?

Edit: I'm changing my guess to dog, also.

    I thought the same thing!

It looks like a dog to me, probably just another starving feral that needs to be put down.

There had been rumors of a mountain lion around the area so that was my first thought but it's not a very good pic so really can't decide.

It does seem to have a longer tail than most dogs from what I can see.

I don't think its a cat. Cats legs stay pretty thick down to the paw. Those look to be a little slender. Guessing, and just a guess either a dog or a yote.

Looks like a yote. Slender legs. Tail starts thin and goes thicker.

I put it in a photo editor, still couldn't distinguish a head. By the looks of the tail and hind leg, it's a dog. Tail is too stiff for a cat and too skinny for a coyote. Unless a yote is mangy, the tail is way more bushy than that and this one has hair on the tail I can make out so...dog.
