It sounds to me like the float is sticking or out of adjustment in the carb or the needle seat needs to be replaced. I had a similar problem on a arctic cat atv about a year ago and found a broken spring on the intake valve.

Like MechDoc said, if the fuel is coming out the overflow, it sounds like the float. Used to have that problem with a carb on the 185S I had.

With the fuel coming out it sounds like a float problem. I had that on one of my Arctic Cats, it started when I was trail riding with it and it would choke out. What I did for temporary fix was only crack the gas valve open to restrict the gas flow and it ran fine until I fixed the float.

The fuel overflow was only a problem initially. After cleaning the carb it stopped. Still not getting fuel to the chamber though....

    No gas to the bowl?

Is the petcock open? (Gas valve... but I wanted to type petcock). Blow out the gas lines. Check screens/filter.

If you lived closer, I'd say drive it over and we'll get her running. However, I think it would cost you more in gas to drive up here and back than buy a new carb.

Well this morning I took the carb back off AGAIN and without distraction from my onlookers of yesterday. I meticulously pulled it apart and cleaned again. The float valve was in fact still sticking and the slow jet was clogged again. I did an extremely thorough cleaning and threw it back together and wallah ... She is purring like a kitten!! Woo hoo :nana:
