I have a German friend (former girlfriend) in town until Oct. 4... we're going to see Luke Bryan/Florida Georgia Line on Thursday, in Cinci. Staying for Reds/Pirates on Friday... back home to Columbus for 'Oktober Fest' on Saturday. Once she leaves, I'll be dedicating every spare moment to the National Quarter Horse Congress... virtually unlimited special duty for an entire month The good news: Christmas will be outstanding this year! The bad news: I wont be hunting much at all, until November
Not much coming up soon... I just got married on the 14th and have been down in Pensacola for the last 5 days. Headed back home through Alabama right now. Some time this fall I'd like to find time to work on the house- I want to lay new flooring down and possible reside.
Finally coming home...to a divorce. Where upon im being moved to the middle of nowhere where it is freezing cold with no girls around for miles.
Me and the wife are going to the Patriots/Saints game and spending the weekend in Boston Columbus weekend.
LOL. Realistically I know I'll never make it to the point of being able to run 26 miles. 13 is more achievable for me. What a great start to the weekend though, take a girl downtown to a small microbrewery to have a few drinks and my brand new truck window gets smashed out and 2 pistols stolen. The thing that makes me the most mad is that instead of just smashing the window, they pried it open until it shattered so the whole door frame likely has to be replaced now. Gotta love the fine citizens of Birmingham.... Can't wait to get out of this hell hole of a city.
When you come to MD, let us know. Maybe Lastoneout, me and a couple other MD guys can get out on public land. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
Wow. That sucks! I used to just leave my doors unlocked when I lived over on the southeast side of Elgin. Otherwise, I would have been trying to replace windows all the time. You don't know how close I came to setting a $20 bill on the trigger of a 330 conibear and leaving it sit inside my truck's cab.
Nice truck, Trevor. I have an '06 Tacoma that I bought new. I've put 139,000 on it so far with no issues yet.
133K on mine as well. Deciding on whether to put a full OME lift on it or not at this point. How are your rear springs holding up?
Did any of you get the leaf spring and shock replacement through the TSB (i think that's what it was called). My 08 Tacoma was the standard version (non TRD). I got all my shocks and leaf springs upgraded to the TRD version through it for free.
I was outside of the requirements for the TSB (I think it has to be within the warranty period). I have the TRD, but even those springs and shocks aren't much in terms of burliness. The OME Dakar springs are what should have come on the truck to begin with. I'm just debating whether I want to spend the money or not.
