I was at archery shop and this guy brought in his Hoyt and sting was just hanging off the cams and said I just dry fired my bow. Not on purpose but the guys at the shop checked it over put the string back on and it was good as new. I seriously believe that they do make the toughest bows on the market.
I picked up a new Hoyt Carbon Defiant at a pro shop last week for half price of the new rx1. Its a great shooting bow. Shot some left over no cams and decided to go with the carbon defiant. Either are great bows. I didn't shoot the triax but it looks sweet. Not sure I would like a bow that short.
Good choice! I was gonna buy a rx1 but I also got a good deal on a carbon defiant. I think it’s just as good plus I think it’s liter than the rx1.
I am by no means an expert but I am a cheap bastard. I have shot a Jennings buck master lite since 1996. This year I decided to get a new bow. I shot PSE, Mathews and Hoyt. I went with the 2019 Hoyt Nitux, 28.5 in draw at 70 lbs. I love this bow. I foresee having this one for a long time as well.
Hoyt Charger 70# 2013-17 Carbon Defiant 70# Always eying up the carbon, found at local shop on a blow-out sale, I couldn’t pass it up. My buddy has same bows except he bought his carbon a year before me. We would shoot together and I couldn’t believe how fast, light and dead quiet his bow was. It drove me crazy. My charger is now my sons bow, he’s almost there with drawing 63#. Love the carbon, especially in the cold OH tree stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
