Any Coal Miners?

    there is a new long wall coal mine that is taking apps now and needing emts and is paying for the mining school if they get hired. thinkin about puttin in my app. its a huge pay increase and i get to do my emt thing while im down there and i also want to get on the fire brigade and mine rescure. anyone have any experiance with this?

    well i will still be mining coal i might be runing a pinner or on the continus miner but if somone gets hurt underground they will page the clostest emts to his location in the mine. i dont know what there starting pay will be but in the mine that my buddys work at the started out at $20 a hour

    Took my MSHA class a few months ago. While my job doesn't require me to go underground, there are a lot of opportunities if you are willing to travel into the hole.
