So I'm just about done with season 3 on Netflix. I needed something to fill the void while I wait for the new SOA season to start, and Breaking Bad is almost as good IMHO.

    Anyone else hooked?

I need to rejoin netflix, but I'm too cheap. This would be one if the series I would be interested in.

Yes..Breaking Bad is the best show I've ever watched. I love everything about it. I guess season 4 isn't on Netflix? Currently waiting for the 2nd half of season 5 to air...sometime this summer.

Must agree Breaking Bad is the best show on TV. I thought season 4 was on Netflix. I hate waiting for the end of season 5 I just don't know why they didn't call it season 6.

You guys like BB over SOA? Really? It's pretty good, one of the best shows I've followed......but I still don't think it's better than SOA. Close but not quite.

I like SOA but the writing and the story is so much better in Breaking Bad.

The difference is Breaking Bad is believable. That **** really happens. SOA...it's a pretty far stretch of a biker club.

OK, I now agree on BB being better than SOA. I bought the first half of season 5 on iTunes and watched it yesterday during a bunch of flights/layovers/detours yesterday. It just keeps getting better. I can't wait for the second half of this season now..........

Anyone have recommendations for other shows that a BB/SOA fan would like? I need to fill the gap while waiting with something else........

I still like SOA better than BB, but they're pretty close.

Other stuff to watch - The Walking Dead, Dexter, Justified or if you want to go back to the old school watch The Shield. Although the Shield was created by Shawn Ryan, Kurt Sutter who writes and produces SOA (and stars as Otto Delaney) was a producer/writer on The Shield as well. IMO it's still one of the finest TV series ever made.

Season 4 is on NetFlix I just checked. I am almost at the end of season 4. Not sure how I am going to see the first part of season 5 yet that is already aired. Or the new season 5 part 2 since I don't get AMC. I'm sure Amazon Prime will have it.

In that order, are the three shows I follow. I also like Suits.

I agree. It doesn't get much better than SOA, Breaking bad, and The Walking Dead.

No...thats why I couldnt get into it. Breaking Bad is so unrealistic, its like comedy. 99% off all meth is made in wood lots, under bridges, back rooms and in small out buildings...they cook it a few grams at a time in small cooler's and 2 liter bottles. The big labs that ran in CA, back in the med 80's all went under....because every body and there momma learned to make it them selves.
