i just got this for christmas and does anybody use this type of cam. Does it work good? Is the trigger speed good? Is the picture quality good? Is it a bad cam? My dad bought it for me for 80 bucks brand new.

My brother has one of the lower priced models and put in through it's paces. It's not a cuddy, but it gets the job accomplished. Good luck with yours.

I've had 3 different models of their cams.

The X6C- Which is my favorite because it is tiny. It mounts on anything strong enough to support it's weight.

The IR5D- I liked this cam, as well. Simple set up.

The D8D- This camera has a lot of features that I like, including a color viewing screen built in(one of the X6C models has this, as well).

It's a larger cam, and a little heavy, but, I looks to be built well. The battery life of these cams has been rather good. We'll see how they hold up when it gets cold.

i got the ir5d back on black friday for $80, it's my first trail camera so i cant compare it to anything but i like it. Good quality pictures, not sure how long other trigger speed is but it does seem to take a little while in my opinion

I have the IR4 and it takes OK pics but i discovered that most of my pics are dark. The IR range is only 20-25 feet, BUT when I put the pics in iPhoto and adjust different things in pics, I can actually see out to around 75 feet. I was about to quit using the camera till i discovered it. I have a moultrie, it is the small one, it has awesome IR range, but when I adjust aspects of pics, WOW. I have went back in my old WGI pics and found many deer that I had no idea were even in the pics. Everyone should play with their pics in a photo program.

Using a friends X6C and it works good but as it only takes one picture at a time which I don't car for. Battery life is ok as well.

I have 4 of the x6c and they are great, dam near invisible in the woods, very fast trigger speeds and great pics and battery life is beats every other cam i have had.

Put a small piece of black tape over the lights on the front of the cam and let them run.

My brother had 2 of them. Day time pics were excellent but the IR pics weren't as nice. Battery life wasn't as expected or advertised either. Would I buy one? Nope

you did not say witch model you had... what kind of batterys. c-cell;d-cell or the newer AA battery model

The 8 AA battery model in the x6c cam has super battery life. but my wildgame s1.3 with it;s c-cell is junk.
