Throw it in the freezer for a day. Try it with new batteries. Ants are terrible this year!

Sucks. Lost one to ants myself last month. Thinking of dumping ant killer around the trees I put cameras on but not sure how the deer would react to the smell.

I had ants get into my i40, I put it in a few plastic walmart bags and tossed it in the freezer for a few days. Then when I took it out I blew the ants out with a compressor and put the camera infront of a fan to dry it out.

Put new batteries in it and the dates were all fine...I put it back out a few days ago and im not checking it till August. It did take a few pictures of me as I set it up so I know if works...just gonna have to see what the pictures lool like...

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s4

    sucks..

get some of that Ortho ant spray stuff and spray it around the cameras. If you want to get crazy some of them ant traps. I found the stuff that has the gel in it and the ants take it back with them works the best.

chasingame.com did a test on that spray and no side effects for the deer. I now carry a bottle with me(5$ at walmart) and spray the top and bottom of the tree the camera is on and the base of the tree.

I have had a few cams in the freezer this year.....
