Antlers in may?

    Just went to take my dog out and there was a 6-8pt buck standing in the middle of my driveway. It wasn’t in velvet, it had a legitimate fully grown set of antlers. Either he didn’t shed them from last year or grew next years set extra early. Anybody ever seen something like that? We did have a really warm winter…

    Nope. I was wondering if it might not be an antlered doe though...

    Sounds like a goofy situation. There was a deer around that never shed its velvet, but it dropped antlers every year. If I had to guess the one you saw never dropped its rack and has testosterone issues.
