    Exciting isn't it?

Seems like yesterday everyone was waiting around waiting for the antlers to fall off, now we can't wait for them to start growing faster. Before you know it, we'll all be sitting in tree stands!

Nice Pat! I check cams today too. Lots of bucks, but only one with about 3/4" of growth. Going to be exciting checking cams over the next few months!

Yeah its getting to be that time already, a friend of mine saw a 130" eight point still holding last week. I cant wait to get out and do some velvet scouting in the up coming months.

While I have bucks that are sprouting antlers as well, I also have this guy. I thought it was kind of strange.

Actually, Greg is being serious. The area he's in got 6-10" of snow last week. It just missed my town to the south.

You're right Dan. The weight of that snow wreaked havoc on a lot of pines. I spent a couple of hours with the chainsaw last Saturday clearing my trails.

The snow is all gone now but that buck is still carrying antlers. Must think he's getting a head start on the competition!!

We also had 8 inches of snow last Wednesday (April 20) It was hard on my Turkeys blinds but did make for a cool hunt with my Dad :D

It's crazy that bucks still carries antler Great pic Greg :hail:

Snow caved in my blind and cost me a chance at a turkey the week before. :(

I'm just north Cataract. Are you right in Sparta?

If you are ever in the area on Fri. or Sat. night, stop at The Mill Pond Pub, I'll buy you one.

    Maybe two.
