I was also wondering. If some people don't check in how do we go about getting someone off the alternates list? Whats the standard wait time for a check in?
Well I believe they have till the first of September to check in, then Fitz will make a new thread for teams requesting alternatives.
Got one last year during gun season, but ya deer population in my area pretty much tanked. When i started hunting I would get a deer pretty much every time I hunted, but now if I see a couple deer I've had a good day. Got some new property that holds a lot of deer as well as this last winter being so mild that the winter kill was almost zero for southern ny. Hoping to get one early on. I might try to film a couple not sure yet I'm hunting 2 private farms and 4 pieces of public all over 2000 acres this would be my first year trying to film so if I do it might not be the best footage lol.

Yeah he gave me advise after last season for my camera setup from Campbell's. I've only filmed a couple turkey and hog hunts so far no whitetails or nothing from a tree yet but was thinking this season I'd try a couple times.
It's not mine it was the 36 pointer poached from a half mile down the road from me in grundy county if you Google it there's a huge story on it. It's mounted here at our dnr station.
It's called the Chris Kiernan buck if I spelled it correct he was an elite pro shooter selling hunts on other people's property without them knowing it untill he got caught
Yeah i already knew about the story.... but that clears some stuff up for. You don't really make it known that you are not the one that poached the deer in your picture so I think that has rubbed some people the wrong way here.
Lol yeah I'm not the one who poached it my name is justin everyone calls me Jay the biggest buck I've shot wasn't that big maybe 130s class lol I can post a pic never had him scored he was from public land last season.
