Antler Traps: Should You Use Them?

    Thankfully antler traps are illegal in Oklahoma. And for those that do make antler traps, twiddle your thumbs and learn some patience.

    Shed traps are for losers and that's a fact. IF you hate walking and learning more about deer patterns BUT still want to pick up their antlers, I would suggest hinge cutting a tree that the deer like to eat. I have found a lot of sheds on blow downs that deer have browsed on and knocked antlers off on branches and it's not going to injure the deer.
