I will be using my new Mathews No Cam HTR. Set at 65 pounds with 30 inch draw. QAD ultra rest (Mathews version). I use carbon express arrows Maxima Hunters 350. I think they are like 8.9 grains per inch. My total arrow weight is 406ish. Shoots roughly 275 fps give or take (not worried). The broadhead I will be using is NAP 100 grain Killzones. I have the 2 inch COC and also 2 3/8 inch COC. Probably will use up my 2 inch first. Let me know if you have any questions!
Alright update time: Well yesterday was quite a unexpected turn of events for my season. First off let me introduce myself. I am Tim and this is the 4th year and I am partaking in the deer contest. I hunt in Lincoln County Central Wisconsin. Been hunting for give or take 15ish years(not really sure), and I am quite the determined hunter. Now with that said I have a crappy story to share. Currently my girlfriend and I rent a house that has about 5 acres of hunting land attached to it. It's really not all that great, however what attached to it is. Additionally to the land we rent is 50-60ish acres of private land on which I actually hunt which is the neighbors and landlords land. This land I hunted last season and was successful shooting a decent 8 pointer(one pictured in avatar). Now this year I have mostly everything figured out as far as how the deer like to bed and move to an from the piece. Now yesterday I was going to put in a mock scrape and check the camera while also making the stand more secure/safe. Now to my surprise when I got to my cam/stand everything was gone! I'm like holy crap! Well I got to the bottom of the tree and notice a note. I'm like great, somebody took my stand what's this about. Well I read the note and it is from the county sheriff and the land owners are going to press charges for trespassing. I'm thinking to myself. I have permission to hunt this land. What's going on? So I go back home. Go to the neighbors (landowners) house and they are not home. I check the landlords house and they talk to me and explain that a neighboring property (two addresses down), said they had a stand and camera on their land. Now I was getting somewhere. Well long story short, when I was explained the property lines by the landlord they failed to mention that a small piece was owned by a third party. Anyway I was 25 feet over the line with my stand. From where I would shoot the deer would be on the correct land but the stand was on the 3rd neighbors property. I talked to the 3rd neighbor and learned of what his property was and the correct lines, got my gear back, but now need to rethink how I want to set up on this property based on the new information. Also noted that the 3rd neighbor's daughter is going to be setting a stand up in the exact tree that I had my stand up in. I know I wrote a lot, but I need to vent a little as this is quite a shock to me and it's 3 days before season.
Thats such a pain in the a**. Of course they would use the same tree you were in. Unfortunately, you were on their land. Hopefully you can still find a good tree to set up in on the property.
Still around boys...not gonna be much of a talker for now...I will be a scorer tho..confidence... LoL Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Ditto this... I'm not sure what my signature says since I use Tapatalk now, but I'm shooting a '13 Hoyt Spyder 30. Shooting Easton Bowfires and 125Gr Rage Hypodermics. Here's a few of mine that I've entered in the contest over that past several years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

englum, those are some nice bucks. I really like that black and white picture. Adamant, sweet looking rig! My season opens September 19th, buck I will be only looking for a doe for the first month or so, as I take my 6 year old boy with me. Later in the season why I can get out myself, my focus will be turn to a buck.
Well I'm driving back home tonight. Tomorrow starts my two week vacation. Deer an elk are both on the agenda. So ready to be back in the woods.
I will finally get out to check my cams this weekend, so hopefully there is a few shooters on there. Arrow wise, I am using Easton Da Torches with NAP Killzones COC. Season opens Oct 1st here in Michigan, but it cant get here soon enough Last year all I was able to put down was a doe. I know I am chompin at the bit to have a little tree therapy.
Well I didn't get out hunting today but did get my set up with a mock scrape. Gonna give the area some time before I hunt it. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
