AWWWWWW YEAH!!!!!!! Heck of a job guys on puttin' some bucks on the ground. My season ended a while ago so it's onto turkey for me. Congrats to Adamant, Rob and Turk for their kills! Glad to see us putting some points on the board but more importantly..... having fun and putting some meat in the freezer for the families. Congrats again everyone!!!!!!!!! Good news though I convinced my 10 year old daughter to come turkey hunting with me this fall. It will be her first time hunting so I agreed to let her be my camera girl. She's never been hunting before so I can't wait!
Headed out tomorrow for the whole day. Trying something different this time. I have an east wind forcasted so I'm going to hunt from the ground and slowly make my way northeast as the morning progresses. Going to work through some thicker areas where there may be does bedded and check two cameras. Got kind of tired of picking one stand site and then just sitting there and not seeing anything. Hopefully this is a change for the better.
Update: Ok guys I have been away for awhile from the forum due to it being rifle season here in Wisco. Also we just closed on our house on Friday so I have been moving. So I haven't been hunting. I didn't see any shooters on my vacation so I'm going to have to make it count for late season. Once I am settled into the new home (which shouldn't take long) the plan is to hit it hard for late season and put a decent buck on the ground!
They've updated the scorecard and it's looking better guys. All the new dear have been posted so good job with that. Wishing everyone a great late season if you can still hunt. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

sorry I've been out of the loop, but while i have been gone i have laid down a management buck and a doe with my bow. my camera messed up and i lost the pictures of the buck but I've got it on video so i will post him when i finish editing that. but in the mean time i will get the doe posted! congrats on the deer guys!
Also, we hosted a "Hunters for Christ" weekend for the guys at our church this past weekend. There wasn't much time but Saturday afternoon six guys were able to take a deer, and three of those were their first deer ever! it was an awesome time and can't wait for next year!

Well considering it's been more than 2 weeks since you posted this... probably pretty busy. Haha! My season has been over for months. The holiday's have come and gone. Bought a new truck after driving the same one for 11 years so that's nice and can't wait for spring turkey season. I'd be nice to see the score card updated. I've see a lot of posts not added. Anyone looking for new bows this year? I've go my eye on a couple. Just need to decide which one and how much overtime it will cost me at work!
