When you’re out of work for more than a month you can get really bored. I was at my desk this morning and looked at one of those letter openers that looks like a gut hook with the razor in it and I thought …hum. Later I went out to the shed and was looking around and I saw a piece of antler from a earlier project. I got the Dremmel tool out and went to work. I cut a kerf in it and inserted an old Muzzy blade in it, ground it to shape and tada a gut hook. Side note: it is looking like I’ll have to go back to have my rotator cuff surgery redone, it might have come undone.
