I don't know about an antler but it could be many things besides a tumor. Hopefully you'll continue to get pics of him as he grows.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

Maybe I'm not seeing what you're seeing, but it just looks like a shadow behind the ear to me.

I'm with Dan after blowing up the pics it looks like a shadow...if it is a growth of some kind it's very minimal and probably a tick or fly infection.

It's funny some people can't see it. On my monitor it looks like another antler growing under the right ear. It is about the same size as the real antler. When I get home from work maybe I'll blow it up so it can be seen better. It's not a tick.

Greg, you have pictures of two different deer up also. The top one is bigger and has a big stripe on its side where the winter coat is shedding, the bottom one does not.

It's the same deer. I skipped posting the middle picture in sequence. Just a different angle/lighting between pictures I believe. There were no other deer around. Camera is set for every minute. I'll blow it up when I get home. I can also see it here at my work computer.

I don't want to sound like an *** and argue with you, but the second deer is much smaller and isn't even a buck, like the first one. Also, no matter how much shadows change, they won't put a winter coat back on a deer and cover up a large patch that's missing, exposing the summer coat.

Man, I have to get one of those new cameras that have a 360 degree field of view. :poke::lol:

I would love to see all the pics in the sequence.

Thanks for the post. Do you have an opinion on the original topic? ;)

No need to argue Dan. Only one deer has the same looking growth in the exact same spot. No need for an old cuddeback with the 360 degree view, ****.

You were right, I posted the wrong pic the first time around. Can you see the growth?

Can you circle exactly what you're referring to Greg? I see a normal antler growth on the top of the head and a shadow behind its ear. I'm confused as to which dark spot you are referring to.

It's crazy you can't see what I'm talking about. It's as day for me. If this don't work I could email the original pic so you could mess with it?

Just looks like a dark patch behind his ear still. If you follow his ear down you can see that its behind it, it doesnt have a sheen like new growth, so im thinking its just a dark patch behind his ear.
