I try not to check my cameras to often. Between not wanting to educate the deer and the 3 hour drive to my lease I try to let my cameras soak atleast 3 weeks. When there is a big buck on camera it is harder to do. The fact that I only have 1 camera in that woods where he was is KILLING me. So I have decided to go check cameras after 2 weeks so I can move a few more cameras in that area and hopefully I have a few more pictures of him so I know exactly how big he is.

Now that I know I am going down there this weekend, the anticipation of going is killing me. It is going to be a long few days.

You know, the more I look at this buck, the bigger he looks. He's a bonafide monster, Tom!
There's something weird going on there, I think. I tried zooming in and it's hard to tell, but does he have a unicorn antler coming out of his forehead?

FEB he does not have a unicon point coming out, but he has MULTIPLE points coming out from the bases and brow tine area :) there looks to be between 6 and 8 and some of them look over 6" :)

Well I changed the older Covert that was in this spot with my Covert Black 60. The Split Brow buck did make another apperance at about the worst possible time (when the camera is just switching to IR for night time pics and they are mostly whited out. I can still tell it is him and I am just happy he is still hanging somewhere in the area. I added 2 more cameras in the area today and I am going to put 2 more out tomorrow where I think I can get him on camera. The one side is definitely much bigger than the other but the smaller side has a crazy amount of brow tines :)

That is a great buck Tom. Hope you can get on him this Fall.

Just put 3 cameras out on the property I have the Raxx sites a week ago. Most likely will not get back out to that area again until mid-September and it is killin' me already. Just 48 more days I think.
