You know in this day and time, we seem to hear this daily on news shows. Lately, Carlos Estivez was accused. You have the infamous Mel Gibson rant.

Is it overdone? I mean, as a Chrsitian, I am a fan of the jewish faith. I still say they were and are God's chosen people. And even giving the gift of salvation to gentiles, is still aimed at showing the Jewish folks something.

But is making fun of someone's real name anti semitic? Charlie Sheen, says Chaim Levine, and this is wrong?

It just seems maybe even the Jewish folks got a little union thing going.

There's a lot of Jewish Francis's that need to lighten up.

I think when you have been in the bullseye, literally and figuratively, for so long you get touchy about stuff. Can't say I blame some groups, racial or ethnic, for having a thin skin. Sometimes it may be much ado about nothing but, the times when it isn't can be pretty serious.

But hasn't every culture been in the bullseye? From catholics, to non-catholics, to Irish, to Italians, on and on.

I mean, just look at the statistics on who runs hollywood and the news outlets. Its overwhelmingly Jewish. Nothing wrong with that.

You just know what happens when someone crys wolf too much. All I am saying.

Arab schools currently have textbooks that teach their children that jews are evil. Within the past 70 years european jews were stripped of all of their possessions and killed by the millions, including women, children and babies. No one helped them, no one cared. Like I said, I can understand why they seem to be sensitive to things said about them.

I hang around a bunch of different Jewish people and don't hear them complain about anything being anti-semitic really. It seems that when we start labeling people we assign them unique qualities that correspond to that label. It is just another way humans love to categorize, label, and persecute groups of people for whatever reason. Anyways, NO I do not see anything within the Jewish community that leads me to believe they are out there crying about anything. They seem to be the most "under the radar" (meaning minding their own business) group of people out there.

You know I was talking to my boss about this. Russian Jew straight from stalingrad, and he shrugs and says, lots of busybodies in jewish community. But I agree, they are usually under the radar.

I don't think its the folks you are hanging with or I.

    I think its hollywood folks.
