    Exactly.

Does this include non-resident youth? Either way, in our area the ARs have done nothing, which is why I did have to say that it was just my opinion because I do know it has helped other areas. I think the point is, a blanket regulation is silly because every location and terrain has it's own needs.

I'm not sure about non resident youth but I would imagine they would be able to also.

It works for sure. It does usually take more time and work to harvest a mature buck if you get one. Sometimes that buck you see is legal but gets away till you verify that he is legal. It's great if you are into to "The Hunt" aspect.

But if your a guy who wants to walk in the bush and shoot a buck quick, load it up and hang out at the gas station for everyone to see that you can get a buck. Then antler restrictions will make you whine with excuses.

It still works for the guys that only do it for the meat. They shoot does.

Where I hunt in SE MN there have been APR for a few years and self imposed by our hunting party long before that. We have hunted the same property for 26 years and the difference we noticed was HUGE!

Spear I have to disagree with you. I think that antler restriction is awesome and working here in NE PA. As for youth shooting four points, I'm pretty sure any one under the age of 16 has the green light on anything, regardless of points.

Haven't they found the CWD is more prevelant in older deer? So taking more mature deer would be better for the herd
