Well, september 5th is the big day we are headed out to gillette Wyoming for 7 days to do some antelope hunting. I will be going with rod Notestine (president and ceo) of sword sights and treelimb quivers and a couple other friends for a 7 day hunt. Ive never been hunting for antelope nor have i been in the state of wyoming. Were gonna be setting up on some water holes and hopefully get to see some big ones. I will be breaking in my new carbon spyder 30. will try to keep everyone posted on the results. Wish us luck and if we are successful then I will post up some pictures. My setup is 28"draw 60lbs shooting a 400 grain axus arrow tipped with the rage hypodermic heads. [IMG]

Went 4 for 4 on our two hunts out to Wyoming but we hunted near Buffalo the first time and SW of Gillette the second time. We also used guns but all 4 shots we got we hand stalked within bow range. Great times! Beautiful Country! These pictures were from our last trip out there in 2012.

Good luck it's a blast, specially if your decoying them. I was holding the decoy for my pastor and the buck was coming @80 yards then he started galloping @70 yards then at 50 he started running and puffs of dust was rising of each step he would take@ 35 my bud said is he going to stop! I didn't wait to see as I dropped the decoy@ 10 yards and layed down as the goat leaped over me and run my Pastor friend over and kept going for another 80 yards . We laid there for 10 minutes laughing our heads off at just what happend! You'll enjoy it, they really don't have much staying power, they usually fall over after being hit pretty quick.
