One of the things I liked about this episode was the nonsense talk in the truck. It reminds me of normal deer (antelope) camp conversation. Sometimes its just a little different and those things don't always need to be edited out. I grew up on grilled peanut butter sandwiches. Surprised how many people have no idea what Im talking about regarding them! There used to be a food truck in Omaha called Peanut Butter Johnnys that slung some crazy good grilled PB combos.
YESSSS!!!! I am no pro at slinging a Grilled PB but they are fo sho a good quick go to. Tried all kinds of interesting stuff in them....
Never heard of that. So, just like a grilled cheese but with PB? Sounds pretty good to me, will have to try that!
I liked that part of the episode as well. I love banana and mayo sammiches. Has to be Dukes mayo tho. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
when i was a kid and my dad was in charge of supper he'd make a mess of grilled cheese and grilled peanut butter sandwiches. if you know how make grilled cheese just replace the cheese with peanut butter, it can be gooey when eaten hot.
Friday night is my Fantasy Football Draft, and these make quick throw togethers for such events HAHA. You will not be disappointed. And as odd as this may sound, couple that sandwich with an iced cold Miller Lite, and you will be sitting happy.
Due to language and inappropriate topics we weren't able to use all of the inside-the-truck footage from this trip. Part 2 is coming up this afternoon. Hope you guys like it! Those early season antelope hunts are a blast. Next year we're heading out for mule deer in early September instead. Time to give the goats a break.
Several years back, while I was trying to finish out my degree, I was a cook at an Air Force Base Bowling alley. A lady that was part of a league there used to come up and get some reeses pb cups and miller lite every night of the league. I finally asked her about it, and she said that for some reason PB and Miller Lite go really well together. So I tried it, and havent looked back.
Oh Yeah...most definitely!! Grilled bread (with butter on both sides) tastes quite a bit better than toasted bread.
so im steering this even further away from the episode about antelope hunting... ya'll ever have/make banana boats? This would take the place of smores at a bonfire. needed: bananas, tinfoil, bonfire, whatever you think would taste good melted onto a banana. step 1, hold banana and cut slit in peel the length of banana step 2, carefully open like a baked potato step 3. jam that sumama B full of mini marshmallows, chocolate chips. butterscotch chips, one of my favorites Reese pieces, whatever else. step 4. wrap it in the foil and place around outside of fire. step 5. cook until done step 6. eat, pastic spoon can be helpful to scoop out of peel
So I tried the grilled peanut butter.... Definitely can say I'm not a fan. The peanut butter and butter taste just didn't do it for me.
