    Have any of yall seen, heard of or done this? I first saw a video on Facebook about a year ago and completely forgot about it until seeing a video last week. I've got my uncle in on it and we're going to try it, this weekend hopefully. We just have to figure out how to build a "furnace" if you will to melt the aluminum.

    The basic process is to melt aluminum and pour it into an anthill, let it cool/harden and then dig it up and the aluminum forms to the tunnels within the anthill down below.

    How do the ants feel about this?:bigcry: I am fairly certain that if y'all isn't in your vocabulary you are not going to see the fun in chasing ants with melted beer cans.:lmao2:

    Just wait until the government catches wind of this and then they make you buy an ant tag for each ant you kill :)

    That's crazy looking, and very cool! I would think the mound would collapse.

    I thought the same thing. Here in NC, the entrance to the ant hills are very, very, small so I'm not sure how to get the aluminum in there. Maybe push a broom stick in it the day before, let them fix it and calm down then try?

    Those do look cool, would be awesome as a coffee table!
