Hey there all, new here and just wanted to send you all who have the opportunity to hunt this fall the best of luck. Myself and medic87 are here in Afghanistan wishing we could be there in the whitetail woods with you. Shoot straight, wear your safety vest or harness, and take a kid with you.
vthunter08, Welcome! Thank you for all that you do for your country and so many people. Best wishes to you and yours. C
Thank you People don't realize that it is the appreciation and recognition of sacrifice from the folks back home that makes this worth while. Medic87 and myself will be in the woods late season in Ohio if all goes as planned so wish us luck and we'll be sure to post on our success. Even if we don't fill tags this year, just the chance to be out there hanging off a tree will be sucessful. Best of luck to you all.
Welcome to the forum, and best of luck to you filling those tags when you get back stateside, we will save a few for ya.
Very thankful for all that you service men and women have done for us all! I hope like hell you make It back so you can get your buts out In the woods and enjoy what we all tend to take for granted. See ya In a few!!!
Keep Your boots tight and your eyes open! Get home safe! Thanks for everything you do for this great country and please tell the other brothers that we care and are eternaly grateful for all you do!
Well since vthunter08 and I have both introduced ourselves, I figure it's time to post some pics. #1 - vthunter08 and medic87 #2 - I look mad 'cause there's nowhere to hang a tree stand.
Thank you! Both of you! Shoot straight, wear your safety vest, but please don't take a kid with you :D

We are usually down in the south east, south central. We stay at Dillon State park for the 6 day shot gun season and hunt the wildlife areas in Muskingum and Coshocton counties. Powellson, Tri-Valley and Woodbury. Ususally do pretty well for ourselves down there for that season. This year were going to try something new and head out for that late muzzleloader in Jan. Medic87 and myself are going to have bows in the stand instead. My father and a couple of friends from back home are going to be with us so it should be a great trip. I certainly appreciate the offer and maybe someday can take you up on it for the bow season. Certainly would trade time in Vermont at a really sweet camp if your interested. Not a lot of deer there but it sure is a nice hunting expierence and there is a real good chance at seeing a black bear while on stand.
that is a sea of orange that week! Dillon has some great cabins though dont they? I love it down there, real neat historical area. I am always interested in adventure...heck even trout fishing
X2!! Stay safe fellas, and thanks for all that you do so that we can enjoy the things we love. I hope you're back in time to drop a couple of late season bruisers.
Ah Spring! Well for any and all interested, Vermont spring offers some real good Eastern Thunderchicken hunting as well as some great little trout streams. I know I'll be in the woods as much as I can after missing so much from this last year. I am more than willing to bring some fellow outdoor enthusiests along for the adventures. Especially if it means I make a new hunting friend and can try some where new myself.
