Another neighbor asked me to remove a snake from inside her home and as before it was another 4ft. Black Snake. After I captured the snake I released it in the same wooded area as the previous snakes unharmed.

I'm thinking about the next one I capture I'm going to make a summer pet of it and release it as fall settles in. This makes the 5th snake I've had to wrangle in a month time. Yet our area chipmunk and squirrel population remains high and those bird feeders stay filled.

I know some of you guys hate snakes, but I will spare any snake life if I can an I will kill one only if I have too. If you think or fell the snake is venomous and you can't remove it and don't want to spend the money to have it removed then kill it....

Just remember just because the head has been amputated or the snake has been dispatched with a dozen or so hits. The snake autonomic nerves can still cause the snake to deliver a bite up to 1 to 2 hours.

Want to know which exotic snake or animal is for sale in your area???

Say you're in the market for a Gaboon viper (pictured above), or a green mamba, or an albino monocle cobra. You can't buy one at a local pet store. The sale and possession of venomous -- or "hot" snakes as they're called -- is prohibited in the state of Maine.

But there are no federal restrictions on buying these animals. You can buy one in another state and bring it back to Miane, or you can find one on the Internet. Websites offering snakes for sake are easy to find.

The first site I come to is Diamondreptile.com., based in Florida. A price list includes an albino cobra -- in stock -- for $120.00. A West African Gaboon viper is just $100 bucks.

Coincidentally the green mamba: sold out.

From the way the last neighbor acted and wanted me to come back to her house and look for any unseen snakes I would agree. She's single, 36, Blond drives a convertible Mercedes, and fond of wearing short shorts with an over abundant upper body. Over Flow! :jaw: Yea she's looking for a snake alright. :moose:
