Yes, I taught one of my grandsons to hunt! Started with squirrels and then moved right on to deer. Quite a jump. He is in college and spent his hard-earned money on a Bear RTH kit. He has hunted with a friend a couple of times last year. I asked him if he could field dress a deer. "Yeh, saw it on YouTube." Took him to lunch and to my gun club's indoor archery range to make sure the sights were OK. Did good but he wasn't consistent at 20 yards. Dropped the DW a bit and a bit better. I finally noticed he was gripping the bow with all four fingers. Showed him- thumb and forefinger and three fingers pointed out. Did much better as I think he was gripping the bow and causing muscle tremors. Anyway, on the way to the gun club, he said he got a bargain on a Summit Viper climbing stand at 75% off at Sportsman's Guide. Forgot, also taught him to fly fish and he has caught some trout. BTW, his girlfriend's father lives in Alaska and has mentioned hunting there.
