this buck i killed maybe 5-6 years ago outta spite.
I was sitting in a stand and had a crippled small fawn come by. Felt sorry for the little thing watching it struggle to walk.
The fawn was feeding in a clover field about 8-10 yards away when the buck came out following a doe.
When he seen the fawn, which weighed maybe 50# he charged it and gored it it. Had it pinned down and was literally stabbing it with his antlers. The fawn was SCREAMING. I couldn't take it. I was pissed! Picked up my bow and shot him.
Weird thing is, in the (maybe) 1 minute of him goring it, 5-6 other bucks came rushing into the fray and were standing around watching him do it.
A neighbor was about 200 yards away and called me after dark and asked what the screaming was about.
There is still blood on some tines.

I watched a doe one fall that was the herd bully, she had no fawns but would go after any fawn on the food plot. The day after I shot my buck I sat in the ground blind and was watching a still spotted fawn eat and here came the bully, I shot her before she could deliver the front hoof blow I saw her do so many times. Never saw a buck do it though.

    That sounds like an experience.

Mother nature is a cruel B! I just wish the anti's and activists that think we are the evil ones could see what happens in the real woods, fields, swamps, mountains, and lakes before they conclude that we are the bad people.

Chickens, heck poultry in general will kill any bird that appears to be sick or injured, pheasants are the worst.

Pheasants are some mean SOB'S, my father in law had a young yellow lab out for her first pheasant hunt. The lab went to retrieve a downed pheasant and she got attacked and scratched up pretty good. Kita retrieved hundreds of pheasants over her life and all the birds after that first one Kita made sure they were really dead!

I’ve seen crippled geese ruin more than one of Labrador

I've seen does pummel fawns and even young bucks that have shed head gear.
