    Has land gone through the roof out there like it has further east? I miss the good old days of prime ground for 800$ an acre

    My FIL was looking at some land in kansas priced at 2800 per near some friends of his...although he ended up passing due to a job change he was told by others that was a good price....yay...nay?

    Depends on the exact area and the type of ground but yes 2800 is pretty dang good!! I have seen good ground in my area recently go for 5k/acre. Although there was a bit of a price war over it. lol Some of the heavy hitters in my area have more $ than sense it seems at times. lol Good tillable bottom ground is gettin harder and harder to come by each year.
