    Howdy Bowhunters,

I recently purchased my first compound bow; I chose a Quest Hammer after shooting a few others. I chose this bow because of how I shot, how it felt, the package & price...plus I didn't want to spend a whole lot on my first bow. And last month I already filled one doe tag and I'm still waiting for an opportunity for a legal rack to come by my stand.

My question is in regards to stabilizers. Will a stabilizer help me shoot more accurate? Or should I continue without?

Thanks & I'm thrilled to be in this sport.

    Regards,
    kwalsh

Welcome, and yes a stabilizer will help you in a couple different ways such as balance & quieting down the vibration of the bow. I use the New Archery Product's Apache. Good luck this Fall!

Welcome!!! I have used many different stabilizers and personally I like the ole limbsaver s coil. I have never had any luck with heavy stabilizers.

Thank you for the welcome & feedback on stabilizers. I will install one & see what happens.
